*Coached girls softball teams and umpired leagues at Fieldstone when not playing
*Served as President of Franklin High School Parents Association
*Board Member of Tennessee Assoc of RV Parks and Campgrounds for eight years – President for two years – Received Honorary Lifetime Membership first ever Distinquished Service Award, and award for “Oustanding Leadership & Service” to the State Association
*Served several years on National Best Holiday (RV Park Assoc) Board of Directors – One year as President
*Three years on the National Assoc of of RV Parks and Campground Board of Directors – Chaired two committees, Received award of appreciation for “Recoginition of Service in the Industry”, Received plaques in “Recoginition of Outstanding Service and Dedication” as Chairman fo the 36th Annual Convention and co-host of the 30th Annual Convention.
